Srđan Zec

Information Technologies and Digital Banking Specialist

Srđan graduated with a degree in IT management in Belgrade. In 2001, he started working as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Trainer at the CET Microsoft School Centre in Belgrade. In 2007 he joined the Association of Serbian Banks, as Head of IT Department, where he manages various software solution development projects for the banks. Since 2014, he has been working as a coordinator of the ASB Digital Banking Committee, as a Special Advisor for IT and Digital Banking. This position covers the implementation of initiatives related to the advancement of digital communication channels, as well as the development of the banking sector’s cooperation with other industries. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT sector, working in the fields of design and the implementation of system and security services on Microsoft Windows Server and Azure platforms.

He is promoting an increased contribution of banking in the digitalisation of the country, and he believes that the development of the cooperation between banking, state institutions and the fintech industry is the key to reaching that goal.

He is one of the organisers of the annual BankInfo Conference, which has long been a traditional event, gathering experts from the financial and IT industries.
