Marketing of the Association of Serbian Banks is dedicated to creating the Association’s image, emphasizing the quality and value of its services, presenting the segments of the Association transparently and professionally, working on their promotion and advertising. This includes the strategic marketing communication regarding the ASB, design and preparation of relevant materials and publications, editing of the journal and other digital and printed materials, with a view to highlighting the importance and quality of work and services of this institution. Another task is the continous support to the branding and promotion of the specialist and unique organizational units within the Association, such as the Credit Bureau, the Bank Clearing Institution and the Bank Training Center. As part of this, special attention is being dedicated to promoting financial literacy through diverse financial education activities.
The marketing function of the Association of Serbian Banks is also implemented through the expert ASB Marketing and PR Committee, gathering the marketing and PR heads from the banks. At the regular meetings the Committee members discuss the current topics in the banking sector, including the relevant regulations in this field, exchanging know-how and experience with the objective of jointly advancing the industry. One of the outcomes of the Committee activiites is the initiative to launch the BankMark symposium, covering the different aspects of marketing in banks and financial services advertising.
