Traditionally, the Association of Serbian Banks is once more organising their Trade & Finance Conference. It will present an opportunity to discuss many topics: open practical questions from working with customs guarantees, whether there is a new hope for digitalising documentation and processes, what our common problems are with correspondent banks and what the solutions might be, how to understand the issue of dual purpose goods and apply that in practice, how to understand and apply the Regulation on the Type of Financial Guarantees and Equivalent Insurance that ensure waste management activities, and what can be expected from future regulations in this domain in Serbia. During the Conference, esteemed experts from banks, the Customs Administration, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade will hold presentations, while the representatives of the EBRD will join us with their new Trade Facilitation Programme and inform us about the possibilities of facilitating foreign trade via compliance capacity building.
