International Banking Council is the short name for the International Coordinating Council of Banking Associations in the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe. It is a professional network, i.e. a body which has been functioning for many years now, holding sessions once or twice a year in one of the member countries/associations. The bank association presiding over this network is the Association of Regional Banks “Russia”. The Chairman of the International Banking Council is Mr A. V. Muritchev, and the Secretary is Mr A. M. Naumenko. In 2006, the Association of Serbian Banks signed the Agreement on Cooperation with the Association of Regional Banks Russia, thereby automatically becoming a member of the International Banking Council.
