As part of our endeavours to promote sustainable growth and development, the ASB hosted on Tuesday the presenters of the UNECE Forum – professionals from all parts of the globe, who gathered in Belgrade of the 9th edition of the UNECE International PPP Forum that will take place from 14 to 16 May 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) represent, probably, the most important paradigm development mind shift in humanity for multiple reasons. It is the first global public policy agenda recognised by the 193 UN member states; integrates in an indissociable way the three dimensions, economic, social and environmental; recognises that implementation partnerships between central and local governments, the civil society, including academia and the private sector. In 2015, UNECE decided to look for evidence of how this is happening in real life worldwide, and research started that year to collect case studies that reflect this reality.
Three hundred ten case studies have been presented to date, and this year alone, 61 projects from 25 countries, representing a capex of €25 billion, will be presented in Belgrade at the 9th UNECE interaction PPP Forum.
The Association of Serbian Banks is honoured to host the meeting where the presenters will meet for the first time and share how the People-first principle has been adopted on all projects.
