We are pleased to present to you the new, 20th special issue of Bankarstvo Journal, in which we traditionally publish an overview of the banking sector of Serbia in the previous year. You will find out what business results were achieved in 2024 from the data submitted by banks currently operating on the Serbian market, and you will also be able to read what marked the previous year in the work of the National Bank of Serbia, the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the Securities Commission and the Association of Serbian Banks.
This year's edition is rounded off by the balance sheet and profit and loss account of the banking sector of Serbia as of 31 December 2024, according to data from the ASB Bilbon Database, which is filled and updated in direct cooperation with banks.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the employees from banks and other represented institutions who participated in the preparation and delivery of the contributions, because without their help and contribution to compiling a complete picture of the banking sector of Serbia in 2024, this special edition of Bankarstvo Journal would not have made it to publication.
