Today, in the presence of distinguished guests and business associates, the Association of Serbian Banks celebrated the 15 years of the Credit Bureau’s successful operations with a symbolic session of the CB Business Council. “We owe a lot of gratitude to those of you who set the foundations of this project and had faith in it from the very beginning. The Credit Bureau’s unimpeded operations throughout the years testify to its quality and reliability, and it is our obligation to continue improving the system in the coming period”, said Mr Vladimir Vasić, ASB Secretary General. Mr Milan Brković, PhD, Head of the ASB Credit Bureau, expressed his gratitude to the gathered associates and colleagues for their long-standing cooperation, and, at his initiative, special certificates of appreciation were presented to Mr Rade Bačković and Ms Slavica Kovačević, previous Heads of the ASB Credit Bureau, as well as to Mr Veselin Kovačević, the first President of the CB Business Council.
The ASB Credit Bureau was established in 2004, as an organisational unit of the Association of Serbian Banks, bringing the banking sector of the Republic of Serbia into the circle of countries with modern market economies which systematically monitor the settlement of financial obligations of natural persons and legal entities.
