The third European Money Quiz Serbian nationals will be held on 17 March 2020. The Association of Serbian Banks, as the organiser, invites all students from Serbia, between 13 and 15 years of age, to register for this competition by 14 March, at the latest, for a chance to win an amazing prize.
The aim of the European Money Quiz, played on the Kahoot! platform, is to prepare young people, who are rapidly becoming financial service users, to responsibly and independently use various banking and financial instruments.
According to the guidelines which can be found at the ASB website, all eighth grade elementary school students and all first grade high school students can participate in the quiz. The two children with the highest scores, as well as their teachers, will receive a paid trip to Brussels where they will compete in the European Finals of this quiz.
"Increasing financial literacy is one of the core aims of the Association of Serbian Banks", said Vladimir Vasić, ASB Secretary General. "It is particularly important to us to bring young people into the spotlight, which is why we will be organising this quiz in digital form, via the Kahoot! platform. Through this activity we show not only that the banking sector in Serbia is fully in line with current global trends, but also that our students are remarkably skilled and familiar with financial instruments and terms."
The initiator of the European Money Quiz is the European Banking Federation in cooperation with its members, the banking associations from about thirty European countries. Last year, the national round of the competition gathered over 600 students from across Serbia, from about 150 elementary schools and high schools.
