Representatives of the Association of Serbian Banks, Mr Vladimir Vasić, ASB Secretary General and Ms Slađana Sredojević, PhD, Head of the ASB Bank Training Centre, visited the Budapest Institute of Banking on 25 February. The purpose of this visit was exchanging experiences in the field of expert training for bank employees and identifying possible areas of cooperation. Mr Gergely Fábián, Executive Director at the Institute, shared his experiences in the domain of bank employee education in Hungary, particularly with regards to their programmes and the partners they cooperate with.
The mission of the Budapest Institute of Banking was inspired by achieving ambitions in quality education for adults – expert training, with a view to being an internationally recognised institute. By covering the entire operational range of the financial sector, their courses help participants, ranging from beginners to top tier management, to acquire additional knowledge and discover possibilities for professional development. Special attention is devoted to fostering financial culture and implementing the best socially responsible practices.
Throughout this highly fruitful visit, possible areas of bilateral cooperation were identified through an exchange of experiences, which include e-learning, international projects, etc.
