Serbia is no exception and it can be said that it shares the fate of our colleagues in the region and beyond."
This is how the ASB Secretary General, Vladimir Vasić, started his interview for the celebratory 50th issue of Bankar magazine, published by the Association of Montenegrin Banks. By providing an overview of the extraordinary circumstances that we are all facing, as well as on their effect on the operations of the banking sector in Serbia, he highlighted that the banks quite adequately responded to this unimaginable crisis. "The banking sector has made a great contribution to the amortisation of the first wave of the crisis caused by COVID-19 through two phases of the moratorium, through the guarantee credit scheme, through the organisation of work according to the needs of citizens, pensioners, and the economy", said Vladimir Vasić.
