The Association of Serbian Banks Announces a Series of International Webinars

Category: Education 23 April 2020

In response to the current situation caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, the Association of Serbian Banks has in the past has been following the developments around the world, supporting others and participating in various initiatives aimed at enabling economic recovery. The Association quickly transitioned to relying entirely on the use of new technologies in its operations. Hence, even during the state of emergency, we were able to use Kahoot! online platforms to organise a planned online competition for young people at the national level.

With a view to encouraging financial service users to stay at home, but also motivated by the desire to keep up-to-date, continuously improve ourselves and share experiences, we will be organising free webinars starting from next week - in the form of video conferences held online, in real time. Thanks to a wide network of its members, as well as its partnerships, the Association will organise these events both independently, and in cooperation with other partners - relevant institutions from the country, region and the world.

We are pleased to announce that the first of the web conferences we have planned will be held on 28 April 2020, from 14:00 to 15:30, with the topic being "Best Practices - Technologies, Approaches and E-Learning Potential". The webinar will be organised in cooperation with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Frankfurt and the European Bank Training Network, Brussels (working language will be English). The aim is to exchange experiences and good practices, but also to examine at the latest approaches used in e-learning. The webinar is designed to be primarily intended for employees in the banking and financial services sectors. For more information on the webinar, and in order to get an access link, please send an e-mail to sladjana.sredojevic@ubs-asb.com, by 27 April, 15:00 at the latest.

The second international web conference will be held on 5 May 2020, with the topic being "Best Practices - Digital and Online Exam Technologies", while the third international web conference entitled "Financial Sustainability and Financial Literacy in Turbulent Circumstances" will be held on 26 May 2020.

In the coming period, we will continue to organise and publish invitations for other web conferences, webinars and other online events aimed at exchanging experiences, expert discussion, providing new information, personal education, but also opening new directions for further research. Invitations will be posted regularly on our website.
